Objectives

Ontario Health is launching a Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) Community of Practice (CoP). The goal of the CoP is to create a community that will champion improving the quality of care that people with SCD in Ontario receive across all settings, through the implementation of the Sickle Cell Disease quality standard.


Health care teams who provide care and support for people with SCD are invited to join our launch webinar on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. EDT, on Vaso-occlusive Acute Pain Management using Sublingual Fentanyl.
