Objectives

The Lung Health Foundation (LHF) invites you to join Better Breathing Week 2024!

Join us from January 16th - 17th (virtually), and January 19th - 20th (in-person) at Toronto's Intercontinental Hotel for one of Canada's longest running respiratory conferences.

Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with esteemed colleagues and dive into hot topics such as Canada’s youth vaping crisis, climate change and inhaler use, radon awareness, and much more alongside a diverse audience that includes people with lung disease, caregivers, policy makers, researchers, and a range of healthcare providers.

Why Attend in Person?

  • Be Among the First: Hear about the LHF reimagined research program and announcement of 2024 calls!
  • Dialogue on Critical Issues: Ask hard questions, refine your perspective, and generate new ideas on key matters such as, systemic barriers to COPD care, health inequity in Sickle Cell Disease, complexity in interstitial lung diseases, and more.
  • Attend Practical Workshops: Learn how to leverage the air quality health index to alert people with lung disease, collaborate to design an innovative program for lung cancer screening, and explore the why and how of spirometry testing.
  • Join The Social: An evening of celebration with fundraising, delectable dining, and vibrant live entertainment to add enjoyment to your conference experience.

Register now to be a part of the conversation shaping the future of lung health in Canada!

Mobile Lung Cancer Screening Project

We want your input! We're gathering insights to understand if, and how, a mobile lung cancer screening unit may resolve inequities in the lung cancer screening space and improve early detection rates for specific populations and communities in Ontario. Your inputs are greatly appreciated - whether you're an individual with lived experience with lung cancer, a healthcare provider, or a researcher.

The survey takes about 8 minutes to complete.

*This survey was built in collaboration with Healthcare Together LTD and Dr. Geoffrey Liu of University Health Network.
