Summary/Abstract

Several organizations in Ontario regularly provide primary care clinicians with reports to support improvements in patient care. These reports were produced independently in a largely uncoordinated fashion. While these reports are useful, clinicians told us that the number of reports became overwhelming, and many clinicians did not access or use the reports as they may not always be relevant to all physicians. To address these concerns, these organizations came together as the Ontario Primary Care Reporting Alliance to develop a shared vision to aligning these reports as well as other tools and resources to support better quality primary care.

The members of the Reporting Alliance are committed to collaborating to develop a co-designed report with clinicians, engaging with the broader primary care community, and developing a capacity building model to support improvement efforts.
