COVaxON Training from OntarioMD

OntarioMD is offering training for primary care practices to administer COVID-19 vaccinations. Training sessions demonstrate how to access and use the provincial COVaxON Vaccination Management System. The COVaxON system enables the Ministry of Health, Vaccination Locations, and staff to collect COVID-19 vaccination data.

Each session covers clinical workflow training for primary care staff who will be involved in documenting the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine in COVaxON using the new Clinical Flow modernization process. Most individuals within the practice are anticipated to need this training.

NEW! Changes to Clinical Flow – The Ministry of Health is releasing a new version of COVaxON on June 8, 2022, and you will notice some changes to the tool. The new COVaxON Clinical Flow Modernization includes improvements that will streamline workflow for primary care practices, however the tool is still not integrated with EMRs due to limited time and resources.
