Executive Director -City of Kawartha Lakes Family Health Team (Lindsay)

Position Summary

Our client, City of Kawartha Lakes Family Health Team (CKLFHT), provides high-quality, patient-
centred care through their team of primary care professionals. Working collaboratively, CKLFHT
supports the community through the skills and expertise of 18 FHO doctors and 38 direct CKLFHT
staff members comprising nurse practitioners, nurses, registered dietitians, pharmacists, social
workers, receptionists, and a respiratory therapist.

By partnering with other healthcare and social services organizations, CKLFHT can provide the
community with various services and programs to meet their unique needs. CKLFHT serves
approximately 30,000 patients between our FHO and FHT. CKLFHT serves these patients across
9 different locations, including locations that are remote and rural, with its Administrative office
located in Lindsay, ON.

The preferred candidate will possess a minimum of five years’ progressive management
experience in medical administration, community health or a social service setting (within a rural
setting would be an asset); Master’s degree in health administration (or related discipline) from a
recognized university, or a combination of an undergraduate degree with significant management
experience (preferably within the not-for-profit and/or primary health care sector); to join the
CKLFHT’s Senior Leadership Team as:

Executive Director

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director works with the Board to create an
annual Performance Plan with accountable outcomes.
