Today, Bruyère is pleased to accept the CAN Health Network’s Disrupter of the Year Award.

The Disruptor of the Year Award recognizes health care operators who championed CAN Health’s mission of breaking down traditional barriers, helping Canadian companies introduce innovative solutions across the country.

 GLAD Canada is a 7-week program of education and exercise for people with osteoarthritis of the hip and/or knee. The program was developed in Denmark in 2013 and was first licensed in Canada in 2016. It is now offered at over 200 public and private sites across the country.

Same location, brand-new clinic. 

The Georgina Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic (GNPLC) will soon be returning to its former location on Dalton Road in Sutton.

It has been a challenging 20 months, and primary care teams have been leaders.

Throughout this pandemic, teams adjusted to new circumstances and continued to provide comprehensive care while extending reach to support their communities. They were leaders in organizing assessment centres, conducting tests, and administering COVID-19 vaccines. They collaborated with their partners to help keep communities safe, while keeping their doors open to provide care to their patients and others who needed it most.

Samantha Gupta, Quality Improvement Decision Support Specialist at Central Brampton FHT, was recognized with an OMD Luminary Award, 2021.
