The Lung Association – Ontario is excited to share an excellent educational opportunity for parents with children diagnosed with asthma.
The Lung Association is hosting a FREE, LIVE webcast on Wednesday February 27th, 2019 at 12:00 pm EST, that will cover many of the questions that parents have about asthma and how they can best support their child. They have an expert panel eager to provide information on clinical management, social matters, and how to live an active, normal live with asthma. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions in the moment through the webcast function.
The expert panel includes Dr. Theo Moraes, a Pediatric Respirologist and Clinician Scientist at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto; Susan Balkovec, a Registered Respiratory Therapist and Certified Asthma Educator in the Respiratory Medicine Division at the Hospital for Sick Children; and a parent whose child has been diagnosed with asthma. Having all three of these perspectives together will allow for an engaging and well-rounded conversation.
The Lung Association encourages you to join in yourself and share this invitation with others that would be interested in learning more about asthma in children.
