Members:  $520 Non-Members: $740 Undertaking a workplace investigation for incidences of alleged employee misconduct, violence, harassment, theft, injury, bullying, etc. is often difficult, uncomfortable and troubling for all parties involved. However, it is the legal and ethical responsibility of the organization to conduct a proper and effective workplace investigation. Moreover, employers are increasingly recognizing what an important tool a workplace investigation can be in discovering problems and preventing their reoccurrence. This two-day interactive workshop is ideal for senior staff and others who are responsible for conducting workplace investigations. Extensive sector-specific casework and mock scenarios will arm participants with the knowledge and tools to conduct systematic investigations while applying best practices. The skills learned can be used for any workplace investigations, such as discrimination, harassment, resident abuse and any health and safety issues requiring investigations. This two-day program will:

  • Provide the tools needed to conduct investigations in a fair and objective manner including case studies to apply principles as they are learned.
