Objectives
On Thursday October 12th, 2023, the 15-year anniversary celebration of the Lung Health Foundation's Respiratory Health Forum (RHF) welcomes healthcare professionals, people with lived experience and caregivers from across Canada. This free virtual conference invites healthcare professionals and people living with lung disease to learn, share, and network, no matter where in Canada they tune in from!
The Lung Health Foundation is recruiting a presenter to host a 1-hour workshop from 3-4pm EST for the youth vaping portion of RHF that highlights the following:
- Canada's youth vaping epidemic (including, but not limited to, prevalence of vaping, health risks, how nicotine affects the developing brain of adolescents...)
- Behavioural interventions, including behavioural contact interventions (BCIs) to educate parents, teachers, and other caregivers on how to have supportive conversations with youth about vaping
