Information for Concurrent Session Presenters

Notifications of presentation approvals and schedule were sent to each presentation “Contact Person” on June 6th, 2018.

  • If you are a presenter and would like to know the status of your presentation, please contact them directly.
  • If you are a contact person and did not receive an e-mail please contact info@afhto.ca right away.

All those that submitted abstracts – Consider submitting an AFHTO Bright Lights Nomination for your team (nominations will be open mid to late June)

AFHTO’s “Bright Lights” Awards recognize leadership, outstanding work and significant progress being made to improve the value delivered by interprofessional primary care teams across Ontario. Historically nominations are less than half of abstract submissions so we’d like to encourage you to nominate your team in mid-June.

Now that your concurrent session presentation is accepted:

Concurrent session presenters are responsible for submitting their slide decks, conflict-of-interest declarations, and any special AV requests. Key dates, relevant links and more to help you prepare for the conference will be shared with all presenters.

At the Conference

A program host will be assigned to each of the rooms where concurrent sessions are being held. When you arrive at the room, your host will greet you and assist you with setting up your PowerPoint slides and projector as well as any other audio-visual equipment you have requested. During your presentation, your host will hold up time cards to help keep you on schedule and let you know when your time is up. At the end, he or she will act as a “moderator,” queuing audience questions.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at conference@afhto.ca.
