Registered Nurse: Project Manager – North York FHT

REGISTERED NURSE: Project Manager (6 month temporary position) Position Overview: Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the Medical Advisor and Clinical Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and evaluating projects within predetermined timelines and budgets. Building and working within teams to ensure quality control and improvement will be central to this position. Responsibilities:
  • Manage projects from initiation to closure
  • Determine how results of projects and initiatives will be measured
  • Communicate expectations and outcomes
  • Lead, coach and motivate people on a proactive basis
  • Develop tools and best practices
  • Track and report project outcomes through different approaches
Qualifications:
  • B.Sc.N with Masters preferred
  • Member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Familiarity in working with project management tools and/or software packages
  • Demonstrated ability in problem solving using sound judgment and critical thinking
  • Demonstrated computer literacy is required to facilitate the use of electronic medical records
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a busy multi-disciplinary team environment
