Fifteen to twenty per cent of women develop a mental illness during or after pregnancy. Although it’s more commonly reported in mothers, it can affect fathers too. To help you care for these patients, leading experts from Mount Sinai Hospital’s Perinatal Mental Health Program will be presenting a live, three-part online learning event on perinatal mental health.

November 9, 2017: Severe Mental Illness in the Perinatal Period

  • Speaker: Marina Golts, MD, FRCPC

November 23, 2017: Insights from women who have experienced late pregnancy  loss

  • Speaker:  Melissa Goldband MSW, RSW and Stephanie Turek, MSW, RSW

Each presentation is interactive in nature and participants will be given an opportunity to ask questions and/or provide comments during the last 15-20 minutes.

This webcast series is FREE to all primary care providers across Ontario via OTNHub and using devices such as your PC, smartphone or tablet.
