Join Deputy Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, Dr. Bob Bell at the Ottawa and Toronto sessions along with other Ministry Representatives in Thunder Bay, Sudbury, and London where participants will discuss the evolving health care system since the release of the Patient’s First Proposal, early lessons learned, and moving towards integrated care.

The role of hospitals is transforming and evolving as the health care system moves towards an integrated approach of patient care. The OHA has been a consistent advocate for integration and is working to advance a number of transformative initiatives. In Patients First: A Proposal to Strengthen Patient-Centred Health Care in Ontario, the government proposes to integrate the health care system to improve access to primary care, standardize and reinforce home and community care, and strengthen population and public health. The government is focused on making changes to the health care system to address the structural issues that create inequities.

As an important partner within the system, we sincerely hope that you can attend this complimentary event.
