On April 1, 2016, interprofessional team-based primary care organizations will submit Quality Improvement Plans (QIPs) to Health Quality Ontario (HQO), marking four years of commitment to the Excellent Care for All Act, 2010 (ECFAA) and improving the quality of care that primary care organizations offer patients and their families.
To help primary care organizations prepare for the 2016/17 submission, HQO is pleased to offer a series of webinars related to changes to the QIPs and to the Navigator tool. The first, on November 16 at 12:00 pm, is a “sneak peek” webinar that will provide a high level overview of reflections and observations from the 2015/16 submissions; this webinar will also feature information about what’s new in 2016/17, including changes to the indicators and new and refreshed resources. The second set of webinars will offer training on the Navigator tool, including a webinar geared towards new users, as well as a version designed for more experienced users.
