On October 18-19, 2016, Health Promotion Ontario (HPO) will be hosting its annual conference in Ottawa, Ontario. We will celebrate 30 years of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion, and focus on moving forward with the theme of pushing boundaries in the health promotion field. We invite you and your colleagues to join us at the beautiful Canadian Museum of Nature for this event.
The conference will be insightful and thought provoking with opportunities for hands-on learning. We are proud to present this program in partnership with the Alliance for Health Promotion, who will be hosting the 6th Global Forum on Health Promotion in Charlottetown, PEI earlier in the week. We are excited to announce that the Alliance have organized a fantastic opening panel for our conference that beings together leading global voices in health promotion to discuss the past, present and future of health promotion. The attached flyer has more details about this exciting panel.
The conference will also feature a community discussion about the future of the Canadian diet and health promotion, as well as a series of keynote lectures, short presentations and workshops. There will also be plenty of time to socialize with other delegates in the beautiful setting of the Canadian Museum of Nature, and the surrounding Centretown neighbourhood.
