Hello GeMH network and those interested in geriatric mental health!
We are pleased to announce another Geriatric Mental Health (GeMH) free blended educational activity coming to you this fall. Once again we are offering our blended learning activity that consists of two parts – an on-line learning module to be completed on your own time/schedule paired with a live webinar. The on-line learning module will be available early – mid October and the webinar will take place in mid-late October. Exact dates will be confirmed by early September.
Based on our previous GeMH learning activities on topics such as depression and anxiety in older adults and managing challenging behaviours in dementia, along with your feedback we have selected our next topic as “A wish to die: Depression, MAID and the older adult”.
This time, however, we are doing something a little different; customizing the online module to your specific needs! Please click on the link below to a surveymonkey survey that will ask some demographic questions, some knowledge and attitude questions and then questions that will help us customize the online learning module for you. Just like choosing what features you might want in a new car we will make this educational activity “bespoke” just for you!
By completing this survey you will also be registering for the free educational activity.
We look forward to hearing from you.
