This professional development program is designed for pharmacists who have an interest in enhancing their understanding and knowledge related to various topics in the area of cardiovascular patient care, with an emphasis on the pharmacist’s role in community pharmacy practice. This program provides participants with relevant information on the management of less common topics seen in their practice. The goal of the program is to provide a comprehensive update in a convenient, concise, and usable manner on the topics of cardiovascular disease risk assessment, acute coronary syndromes, angioplasty and stent placement, infective endocarditis, and heart healthy eating.
Registration in the program gives participants access to the online modules until the program’s current accreditation expiry date of September 24, 2016.
The program’s letter of completion must be achieved prior to the program’s current accreditation expiry date.
