Confirm your interest in being a mentor or mentee by Friday, September 30, 2016

As part of its continued support to health care governance in Ontario, the Governance Centre of Excellence (GCE) is pleased to offer the Board Mentorship Program to assist new board members in their growth and development on health care or not-for-profit boards.

This complimentary program will:

  • Assist new board members in their growth and development on a board
  • Offer a resource for board members through peer-to-peer learning
  • Encourage the sharing of knowledge and experience that support productive involvement in board matters
  • Provide a private and confidential learning experience that is not easily obtained within the boardroom or classroom
  • Facilitate trusting, meaningful and ongoing board member relationships

Mentors and mentees will be matched based on factors such as experience, location and type of organization. The frequency of communication will depend on the initial arrangement established as well as the goals outlined by the mentee.
