Permanent Full-Time

The Hôpital de Mattawa Hospital invites applications for a full-time position of Manager Family Health Team and Patient Services.  As a member of the team, you will provide leadership and clinical expertise to support excellence in patient-centered primary care and acute care. This position will be responsible of developing and structuring the delivery of care in these service areas based on our Vision, Mission and Values.

Summary of role

  • Develop, implement, communicate, and ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations
  • Establish and review goals, objectives, and standards
  • Assess and respond to daily operational concerns
  • Promote and communicate a culture of quality and safety
  • Demonstrate leadership practices
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement, risk management, and various quality programs
  • Participate in budget development and monitor fiscal performance
  • Participate in the planning and delivery of employee orientation
  • Participate in various internal and external committees

Qualifications

  • Post-Secondary university education in Health Care, Business Administration or Human Resources
  • Bachelors in Sciences of Nursing preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years recent management experience preferred
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with patients, families, physicians and inter-professional team members
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Must have an excellent attendance record
  • Criminal Reference Check – Vulnerable Sector required
